Settings

The Settings screen lets you manage your account credentials, change the app theme, control notifications, and adjust how the device display works.

Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation.

Device Section

Shows read-only information about the connected device:

• Provision New Device — Tap this if you want to connect to a different centrifuge. It takes you back to the device setup screen

• Display Mode — A segmented control with three options: RPM, RCF, or Both

  This controls which parameter you can enter on the Dashboard. If your administrator has locked the display mode, you will see a "locked by admin" tag and the control will be disabled.

Account Section

Change Credentials

Tap Change Credentials to open the password change modal:

1. Enter your Current Password
2. Enter your New Password (min 8 characters)
3. Enter Confirm New Password
4. Tap Save

On success: you will see a "Password updated" toast.

On error: you will see "Current password is incorrect" or "Failed to update password".

Log Out

Tap Log Out (shown in red). A confirmation prompt appears. Tap Log Out again to confirm.

You are returned to the Login screen. Your remembered serial and username may still be saved if you had "Remember Me" enabled.

App Section

Theme

Two buttons: Dark and Light. The selected one is highlighted in the accent colour. Tap to switch — the change takes effect immediately throughout the app.

Refresh Rate

Shows how often the app polls the device for status updates (e.g. 500 ms). This is set by the system and cannot be changed from this screen.

Keep Screen Awake

A toggle switch. When on, your phone's screen stays on and will not lock or dim during an active session. This is useful during long runs so you can monitor progress without the screen turning off.
